CORPUS MONSTRUM 0: PROLOGUE part 1

In December of 2021, after several reports of strange rocks falling from the sky, the Dutch government ordered the creation of the world’s talles research centre to be built near the south side of a town called (REDACTED). Standing at 1008 meters tall, the municipality stated it was being used to examine the crash site of an unidentified piece of meteor.

Starting February 2021, the local hospital started reporting dozens of cases of a strange parasitic infection amongst its patients. It Seemed the meteorite that crashlanded earlier that year had brought something terrible with it; a vicious and lethal parasite that completely consumed it's host if left untreated. Surgical removal proved to be too dangerous as every attempt resulted in parasitic infection of the medical personel trying to execute the surgery.

Around that same time sixty-four year old Dr. Ivy Edison made a breakthrough in quantum physics that made it possible for her to invent a device that could be discribed as a "shrinking engine". Takahashi Industries bought most of edison's idea's and patents and hired her a as head scientist. This deal resulted in a range of special equipment that could then be shrunken down in order to send Medical Resque teams inside the human body in order to combat the parasitic invasion on a whole other level...
